Today we dedicated our Brockton conference room to Paul Cashin, beloved, longtime director of our Diversion Program. Lots of laughs and fond memories of the more than 30 years of dedicated service that Paul devoted to Plymouth County.

Team Cruz was at it again, out in full force covering the county. Thank you Abington, Brockton, Carver and Scituate for all of the great response! A huge shout out to our great volunteers, Thank you for all your support!!

For 3 years, Brockton, State and Federal Law enforcement have been meeting directly with concerned residents as part of our Operation Safe Streets. I am so proud of this group. The lines of communication are open between community and law enforcement and Brockton is better for it.

We know of their tireless work here locally to provide a human touch in the critical hours of need after an overdose. Proud moment tonight when Plymouth County Outreach was recognized by the International Association of Chiefs of Police with their Leadership in Community Policing Award.

Fun time at Komedy for a Kause put on by the Wheelchair Strong Foundation. Proud to support Mark Chauppetta and his sons Troy and Andrew in their effort to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy through laughter and entertainment.

Beautiful weather for the Cranberry Harvest Festival in Wareham.  It’s a great educational experience for the entire family. Lots of different vendors and activities. Met up with State Rep. Susan Williams-Gifford, Lt. Gov Karyn Polito and State Treas. candidate Keiko Orrall

Had a wonderful afternoon at the Hanover Council on Aging’s first Meet the Candidates luncheon. It was so nice to see and chat with everyone, and I thank the COA for putting this event on.

Irish eyes were smiling wide at the South Shore Irish Festival this weekend in Marshfield. Thanks to all who stopped by our information booth.
